Married at First Sight

Hitched at First Sight is an American unscripted tv arrangement dependent on a Danish arrangement of a similar name titled Gift Ved Første Blik.The arrangement previously disclosed in the United States on FYI. Starting with season two, it disclosed in simulcast on sister arrange A&E. The arrangement highlights three couples, combined up by relationship specialists, who consent to wed when they initially meet.

For the initial three seasons, the specialists were clinical therapist Dr. Joseph Cilona, sexologist Dr. Logan Levkoff, humanist Dr. Pepper Schwartz, and humanist pastor Greg Epstein. Beginning with the fourth season, the specialists are Schwartz, minister and marriage mentor Calvin Roberson, and correspondence and relationship master Rachel DeAlto.



The couples spend their wedding night in an inn before leaving for a vacation. After returning home, they live respectively as a wedded couple for about two months. From that point they separation or remain wedded. On October 25, 2016 FYI restored the show for a fifth season. In 2017, for the fifth season, the show moved to the Lifetime channel. The next year, two side projects were reported to debut that October, Married at First Sight: Honeymoon Island and Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After.
